Communication is not reacting

There are lot of good articles on web on ‘Communication’ that one can learn about. But today the mode of communication seems to be lost or people have changed the style.

Basically communication is about listening and speaking, or sending message or receiving message.

A good communication is when you listen more than you speak, and the ratio should be 80% listening 20% speaking.

While you are communicating you ought to listen properly and when your turn comes you got to respond properly on the topic.

Today people are less interested to listening. They don’t want to listen what other person has to say and that is very bad. You can not be a good communicator if you do not have listening power, and if you don’t listen properly you can not respond properly. Meaning you are not focused you are lost or irritated or not cool — whatever but this is a bad sign for your future growth.

Communication is most important part of human kind than any other skill. And a good communication is needed at every step in your life.

I myself am not a good communicator, but my coolness has given me good platforms to grow in life. And that is something I have learnt, you don’t have to be an Albert Einstein to grow, you just have to be you the one you are with only one skill — listening power, and not reacting power.

Be its your home, or school-college or professional place your life is depended more on how you communicate and less about what’s your degree is!! And young generation needs to learn and know that.

People believe they can get what they want with what they have but that’s not true you can buy things but can’t buy reputation or a good image in market or around your friends if you don’t have a good communication skill (that is more listening) and that is how you know people and understand the subject.

I see people more reacting than communicating everywhere. Reacting is when you don’t want to listen or understand the topic and try to avoid or change it. Reacting is when you are irritated or frustrated and not ready to listen, but force and expect people to listen you or understand you. But that is not how a gentle people behave. That is not appropriate.

There are lots of different type of activities happening around the world or in our personal life and most of the time it affect us but that doesn’t mean we should forget how to behave and that in any circumstances how to respond.

Once you overcome your reaction, you have already crossed one level of your life.
