How To Quick Quarantine Makeup In Less Than 5 Minutes

Hello and welcome back friend! How’s life been? I’ve been spending time with my dear niece and nephew. Working back and forth between helping with school work, arts and crafts, and chasing birds outside. I remember playing outside a lot, but I don’t recall chasing birds. Did you? Anyway, I’m glad to be back into my groove!

Even though I’ve been home spending time with the kids, somedays I wanna look a little “put together”. However, it still needs to be quick for me. That’s how I thought about today’s post! A quick and easy makeup routine you can achieve for those days you need a little pick me up. Or if you like quick makeup like I do, anyway on today’s blog post.

Mascara
I don’t know a makeup routine without mascara, do you?

Also, it’s quick to apply, you don’t have to worry about blending like eyeshadow or foundation. #winwin

Face Oil
It’s crazy how some sheen on the face can make you look like you walked out of a spa.

A little face oil can also make you look like you have tinted moisturizer on.

Tea tree oil, coconut oil, argan oil, these are all-natural oils I love to use when my skin needs some hydration and glow. Which is all the time.

Apply three drops of your favorite oil on the palm of your hand, then rub together for 10–15 seconds to warm it up. Press the oil all over your face, rigidly rubbing will potentially give you wrinkles.

And my friend you don’t want that for yourself!

Then, lightly rub the oil in an upwards motion to evenly distribute. If you have oily skin use a gel moisturizer instead.

And Voila!

Quick and easy hydrated skin. Too easy!

Cream Blush
Reasoning why you want cream blush instead of powder is because you just applied moister. Applying colored powder like a blush on top of your freshly hydrated skin can appear blotchy on the cheeks.

So instead opt for cream blush or my favorite, satin lipstick.

Choose colors that will brighten your face up and make you look like that French girl that just rolled out of bed. In times like these, I’m assuming that’s you every day?

It’s definitely me.

Think rosy, pink, and coral hues.

A satin finish lipstick gives a natural glow when it sets. Also, they blend wonderfully with your fingers. #quickmakeup

Tinted Lip Balm
A subtle pop of color with a hint of sheen.

Tinted lip balm elevates your look effortlessly when you want a bit more without trying. After all, that’s what this How-To is, quick makeup you’ve created using your hands that looks seamless.

If you’de like

You can skip the cream blush and use tinted lip balm instead. The only thing is I’ve found tinted balm doesn’t last as long on the cheeks as it does on the lips.

Tinted Brow Gel
Notice you’re using a TINTED gel not a pomade or pencil.

Using a tinted brow gel adds color and sets your brows in place for the day. Perfect for this quick “no makeup” look. I have a lot of brow hair ( it’s a curse and a blessing) so I used clear brow gel.

Apply in an upwards motion at the front of your brow and following your natural shape towards the end of your brow.
