Welcome to our latest update. We’ve got lots to share.

Firstly an important distinction between block3 and block3.community :).

block3 is a blockchain Studio who advocate a pragmatic approach to where and how blockchain technologies can be applied to existing businesses and also to create new business and organisational models.

block3.community

block3.community’s sole focus lies in giving underrepresented groups of people a foothold into the blockchain industry. We educate people and organisations on the power of blockchain technology and its pragmatic application. Ways we do this are through; meetups and hackathons, showcasing innovation from the industry, and supporting the growth and advancement of the ecosystem and technology itself.

We are looking to hold the next block3.community Nottingham & London events in September and will be announcing these officially in the next few weeks. Stay tuned! Our intentions are for the block3.community to be running every month in Nottingham and London excluding January and August.

block3.community the non-profit arm of our blockchain studio is excited to announce that we have launched a validator node for the Cosmos Network (the “Internet of Blockchain’s” — test net gaia-7001.

“gaia-7001 was the largest public Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) network in history”

From next month, we’ll be starting a block3 monthly Update. The plan is to give a deeper insight into everything we’ve been up to that month , as well as a summary of our tech, marketing and business development news. It’ll be released on the last Friday of every month, so keep an eye out via : https://medium.com/block3

And lastly, we’re happy to announce that block3 will be launching our new website and rebrand within the next few weeks, which will be much more reflective of why block3 exists and what we actually do — both the business and the Community.
