One click is all it takes

In case you missed it, efitter is a Chrome extension chatbot that predicts your size based on your past orders. We are so proud that we've created a solution so simple that it works with just one click — no need to enter your height, weight or star sign 🙃

We’ve found that people are so used to working hard in order for their tech to work for them. We don’t believe you should have to work just to get your size right so we’ve written this post to show you how efitter works, debunk some of the myths, and take you behind the scenes of the tech that powers efitter.

Step 1: Download and sign up with your Google account. Step 2: Refresh your emails and we will predict your size across your favourite brands. Step 3: Open the efitter chatbot while shopping online to find your perfect fit and learn more about your favourite products!

Download the Google Chrome extension and sign up with your Google account. Click the efitter icon on the extension toolbar to open the extension, then click “refresh your emails” — this allows efitter to see your size across your past orders. Once you land on a product you love on the ZARA or H&M websites, open the chatbot by clicking the efitter logo on the bottom right-hand corner. efitter will walk you through your size in that particular item and give you insights into the product’s materials.

Myth 1: I need to enter my measurements for efitter to work.
All you need to do is log in with the email you use to shop online and click “refresh your emails” in the browser extension — no need for you to enter any details about yourself. efitter looks at what you have bought from other brands and predicts your size based on where you’re shopping now with no manual input necessary.

Myth 2: I need to have shopped at ZARA or H&M to use efitter.
Nope! Most people who return to a store already have an idea of what size they are. We use data from some of the most popular retailers including PrettyLittleThing, Mango, and ASOS to find your size so as long as you’ve shopped at one of the most popular stores, we’ll be able to predict your size. We are adding more retailers all the time so let us know if your favourite brand is missing.

Myth 3: efitter is going to show me the same size at every store.
We use a sizing matrix to recommend your size so we know for sure that your size is the right one. We know that some of you may wear different sizes on the top and bottom so we take this into account too. Of course, your size may be similar across certain retailers but we will always give you the most accurate prediction.

Myth 4: You have to use efitter before you shop with your favourite brand.
efitter works when you need it most — right at the point when you’re placing your order. Just go onto your favourite website, choose an item that you like, and open the efitter chatbot icon in the bottom-right corner.

Myth 5: All efitter does is tell you what size you are.
As well as accurately predicting your size, efitter also gives you information about the type of material the item is, helping you make a more informed decision about how it will fit you.

When you log in with Gmail, we associate that email address with your efitter account so try to use the email that your receipts are on that email (don’t worry, you can always forward them between accounts). Clicking “refresh your emails” allows efitter to skim through your order confirmation emails looking for content from our chosen retailers — we will not read the contents of your emails.

We then calculate your average size score across different retailers — if you buy mostly size 14 clothes at one retailer, it doesn’t mean you will be predicted size 14. Your size score is a calculation that looks at measurements across different retailers. When you land on a product you love, open the efitter chatbot in the bottom right-hand corner of the page and it will predict your size there and then.

The most common piece of feedback we receive from users is about how quick the whole process is as you can go from landing on a product page to having your new top in your basket in 30 seconds. It may seem unusual the first time around but soon you’ll get used to shopping online being as quick and easy.
