Blast from the past!

On a hectic Sunday, I recall my column from last year

Some days are so hectic I have no energy or time left to write my daily column. Living in Spain complicates things because of the time difference with the U.S. ––where I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that most of Medium’s readers live–– and because midnight here comes six hours before it does on the East Coast over there.

If this were a Saturday, I might burn the midnight oil. But it’s Sunday and tomorrow I have to burn the early morning oil ––for which I am thankful–– so I need my ugly sleep. (Most people get beauty sleeps, but mine clearly are not working, so I changed its name.)

Have I mentioned it’s Sunday enough times already?

Here is the article I published on April 10, 2021, which was not a Sunday. Reading it a year later, I didn’t cringe… which means it may actually not be terrible.
