Never let your appearance stop you today from becoming who you can be tomorrow

So, you look ordinary, but your ideas can change the world and it is happening right now

I look in the mirror and I wonder to myself, have I written over a thousand stories on Medium, did I really do that? Most of us underestimate our abilities as individuals and as writers. So, I look ordinary. I do not have the magnetism or the charisma of an accomplished writer. Yet, I have successfully published fiction and non-fiction books. Could I have published my own fiction novels, was something that I would not have imagined was possible when I was a teenager?

We look in the mirror and all we see is an ordinary person looking back at us. I am sure that even when celebrities look in the mirror, they just see themselves as they are, without all that gloss and glamour.

Never let your appearance stop you from becoming who you can become tomorrow. We all have dreams about what we would love to do with our lives. Usually, we have something that we really enjoy doing and which we could do every day. For some it may be singing, woodworking, fishing, painting, dancing, or making videos on nature, or photographing waterfalls. Whatever the interest and passion you have in life go ahead and start doing it today. You could enroll in a course to learn more about the subject and take it up as a hobby and later as a profession.

We may all look ordinary, and we all tend to underestimate our abilities. Never let that stop you from fulfilling your dreams and from becoming the best version of yourself that you can be. Is it not amazing that you have already accomplished so much in life, from taking care of your family, working at your career, cherishing your friends, overcoming so many of life’s hurdles to come to where you stand today, so triumphant and yet so ordinary in appearance? Believe in yourself and you can accomplish anything in life. Always be proud of what you have achieved in life. It is only by acknowledging our accomplishments do we appreciate them, which in turn inspires us to achieve more in life. Your thoughts and creative ideas can change the world and it is happening right now in your life.
